Collaborative, anonymous, writing project call out!
Jas would like people to submit a short written story about anything they want as long as it’s loosely based on true events; emphasis on the word loosely. They will be compiled into a book, anonymously.
This is the second volume of Loosely Based On True Events. The previous volume was posted out to its participants, this one may be a pdf or a hard copy, it’s undecided at this stage as I fund this project off my own back. However everyone who enters will receive a copy one way or the other!
They don’t have to be concise or anything; it could be one line if you think it makes sense/holds value.
Please don’t use anything you’ve written previously, I would like you to write specifically for this project.
Try to avoid graphic/violent content. Swearing / describing something that might have happened is fine but try to avoid anything you wouldn’t want to read yourself as it is going to be published.
Try to make them no longer than 1 side of A4, if it could have a title too that would be great.
It can be in any written format. Some of mine are letters or itineraries from nights out, some are even in french. Don’t feel like you need to write a big paragraph. (But if you want to do that, that’s fine too)
DEADLINE – July 5th
Please submit your short stories to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or if you have any questions feel free to send them to the email also!
If your email address has your name in it, it won’t go in the publication.
